The Champagne Flight  is a tradition started after the first hot air balloon flight in 1783, France. When upon landing, the pilots would celebrate with a toast to the flight. This is not only a fun tradition, but would also help convince the local land owners that the balloon and it's occupants were of this earth and turn there fear into amazement. After all, no man had ever flown before, it was thought impossible.

Launching from the  Clinton, NJ  area at sunrise or about two hours before sunset, your Balloon will be Aloft for about an hour as I take you above the countryside of this beautiful garden state,  New Jersey . You will see the rolling hills filled with wildlife, lakes, ponds, forests and farmlands. On clear days, the skylines of Manhattan and Philadelphia are visible.

 

I operate all year round, so you may select the season you like. If it is a winter flight after a fresh fallen snow or the summer with the trees in full bloom, you will be delighted in seeing mother earth as a spirit floating over it all.

 

And, of course, the most popular time of year is my fall foliage flights. With the leaves showing their infinite varying shades of color and the sweet smell of nature below.
